Simply push the stones from your cherries, I used a chopstick, keeping them whole. Preheat your oven to 180C non-fan, fan 160C. Butter a pie dish and sprinkle with sugar, coating the dish all over, add the cherries. Into a large bowl break 4 eggs, whisk in the sugar, add the plain flour and continue to whisk until combined. Add melted butter, almond essence and the same of vanilla essence and the milk. Whisk to a silky mixture, pour over the cherries and bake in the centre of the oven until a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean, about 40 minutes, cool a little, dust with icing sugar and serve.....Cherry Clafoutis.
