Curry Powder…..Spice it up….

Curry Powder , spice it up with a homemade version, simple and fun …. So man up your dishes …. Have a great workout and Inspire your guests … This easy to make store cupboard ingredient. Curry Powder made by you

Ingredients

2 tbsp Ground Chilli

2 tbsp Ground Ginger

2 tbsp Garam Masala

1 tbsp Ground Fenugreek

1 tbsp Star Anise

1 tbsp Coriander Seeds

1 tbsp Cumin Seeds

1 tbsp Black Mustard Seeds

1 tbsp Yellow Mustard Seeds

1 tbsp Whole Red Peppercorns

1/2 Cinnamon Stick

Directions

This is so simple and great fun to make, use, and store

Roast all the spices on a baking tray in a pre-heated oven 180c for 10 mins. Remove from the oven and give it a good shake and mix up, your kitchen should have the wild aromas of an Indian kitchen by now. Return the spices back to the oven for a further few mins….DO NOT BURN THEM !!!!  looking for nicely toasted. Tip the spices into a bowl or your work surface to cool. Now for the workout, place the toasted spice into a heavy bottom pan and pommel them to dust, i find a stone mortar and pestle do the job nicely….once your spice is dust, pass through a fine sieve into a air tight container, ready to use when ever the recipe calls

These quantities will make roughly 12 tablespoons, giving a medium heat
